I dig geek TV: Ultimate Factories, Build it Bigger, How It's Made... that kind of stuff, on Discovery or NatGeo.

I don't read as much as I'd like, but I have some strong favorites.  A Prayer for Owen Meany and The Golden Gate are two.

I'm an ISTJ.

I actually care about the difference in "less" and "fewer", or properly conjugating "lie" and "lay". Plenty of people find this annoying.  But I say, "Sticklers unite."

Jog or gym?  Gym.

I'm the proud new daddy of a Miniature Schnauzer puppy named Nanu.

My first computer course was in COBOL, at a local community college, when I was 12.  We used punch cards on an IBM 360. It was retro cool.

I'm a fan of Tintin,  Kleinen Arschloch, Yuroz, and Fryes.

My Fantasy Island fantasy would be to play Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto (or at least until it just gets impossibly hard) with a full symphony orchestra.  Nobody need be in the audience.

Hamptons or Fire Island?  Definitely Fire Island.
